The clinical education program at Sullivan Physical Therapy provides physical therapy and physical therapist assistant students an environment, rich with stimulation and challenge, in which to learn to effectively apply knowledge gained in the academic setting to the broad scope of demands and problem solving opportunities within the clinical arena. This mission is fulfilled through comprehensive professional clinical instruction, carefully structured learning activities, and ongoing feedback relative to outlined internship objectives.

The Clinical faculty also believes that knowledge flows both directions and endeavors to grow from experiences with students.

Learning Activities
We look forward to helping facilitate your passion for pelvic health physical therapy.
- Case study - The student will write a case study which includes details of the decision making process and logic directing each choice, intervention, and assessment.
- Community Participation - Sullivan Physical Therapy employees participate in many community events. These include healthy women events, prostate screenings, breast cancer screenings, pregnancy workshops and radio shows.
- Healthcare Professional Observation - The student will have the opportunity to observe healthcare providers in clinic and in surgery.
- In-service - The student will present an in-service to the physical therapy team.
- Support Group Observation - The student will have the opportunity to observe support groups such as pelvic pain, interstitial cystitis and prostate cancer.
