Diagnoses We Treat



Coccygodynia
- pain in the region of the coccyx or tailbone

Constipation
 
- digestive system condition where stool is hard and difficult to pass

Diastasis Recti -
a separation of the right and left side of the abdominal muscles

Dysmenorrhea
- painful menstruation, periods or menses


Dyspareunia
- painful intercourse_

Endometriosis
- a condition when tissue grows around the bladder, ovaries, bowel and outside the uterus

Fecal Incontinence - involuntary loss of feces

Incomplete Bladder Emptying - urinary retention caused by an inadequately contractile bladder and/or urethral sphincter obstruction




Interstitial Cystitis
- inflammation or irritation of the bladder wall

Irritable Bowel Syndrome - a disorder characterized by cramping, abdominal pain, bloating, constipation and diarrhea

Levator Ani Syndrome - pain, pressure and discomfort in the rectum, sacrum and coccyx, which is usually aggravated by sitting


Overactive Bladder Syndrome - a condition where the bladder involuntarily contracts while it is filling leading to increased urinary frequency and/or incontinence

Pelvic/Genital Pain
- refers to any pain in the pelvic region including the area below the belly button and between the hips

Prolapse
- a condition where organs fall down or slip out of place.          
  • Cystocele - prolapse of the bladder
  • Enterocele - prolapse of the small bowel
  • Rectocele - prolapse of the rectum or large bowel
  • Urethrocele -prolapse of the urethra


Prostatitis - inflammation of the prostate

Prostadynia - pelvic pain in the prostate region

Pudendal Neuralgia - pain in the area supplied by the pudendal nerve such as the perineum, rectum, and/or clitoris/penis

Sciatica - a set of symptoms including pain, numbness, muscular weakness and/or difficulty moving the leg which may be caused by general compression and/or irritation of the sciatic nerve or nerve roots



Urinary Incontinence - involuntary leakage of urine

Vaginismus
-
vaginal tightness causing discomfort, burning, pain, difficulty with penetration and/or inability to have intercourse

Vestibulodynia
- redness and pain of the vestibule caused by inflammation of the skin and the mucous secreting glands

Vulvodynia
- burning and/or stabbing pain that is felt diffusely throughout the vulva
