Swedish - used for relaxation and circulatory refreshment, strokes are generally more superficial in nature, and typically addresses full body
Deep Tissue - helpful for chronically tense and contracted areas, focuses on realigning deeper muscles and connective tissue, slower movement, pressure is deeper
Trigger Point - trigger point refers to areas of tenderness in the muscle, involves application of pressure to these points in order to relieve pain and dysfunction in other parts of the body
Myofascial Release - therapy used to increase range of motion and promote body balance by stretching/treading connective tissue to restore tissue health, gentle-to-firm, but not deep pressure
Sports Massage - good choice for a specific problem, for example: sore knee from running, frozen shoulder, torn hamstring, etc. Various techniques are performed
Pre- and Post Natal - relaxation, stress relief, relieves neck, shoulder and lower back pain, reduction of fluid retention, helps to tone body, post-natal helps uterus return to original size, variation of massage methods used for session.
